OK, so I just ate dinner (slider patties, served “neat,” and roasted sprouts with bacon jam). The burgers were the real innovative part.
I stole the basic concept of In-N-Out’s mustard grilled secret menu modifier wherein they cook the burger’s finishing side with mustard for added flavor and a different fond. So I made one like that and one Sriracha grilled.

Boatswain Twin Screw Steamer Double IPA
Hops and light malt on the nose. A very flat bouquet for a beer of this kind.
Immediate hops punch, quickly fades to that lingering bittersweetness associated with IPA finishes.
Nothing too special, but nothing bad. This is like my Budweiser analog - I’d buy one if I wanted a beer to drink, but I’d rather buy a Stone and enjoy it.
